Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Polaris Wing Technology Limited ("Polaris Wing", "we", "us") collects, uses, shares and protects personal information when you use our websites, mobile applications, desktop applications and related services (together, the "Services"), and it explains the choices and rights you have.

Effective date: September 8, 2026 Last updated: September 20, 2026 Contact: [email protected]

1. Who we are

Polaris Wing Technology Limited is an AI-first technology company that designs and builds software across AI, SaaS and mobile applications. For the purposes of the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR"), we are the data controller for the personal information described in this policy. You can reach us at [email protected].

This policy applies to our websites (including polariswing.com), our mobile and desktop applications distributed through app stores such as Google Play and the Apple App Store, and any related services that link to this policy. Some of our applications can be used without creating an account; when no account is required, the information we process is limited to what the app needs to run and what you choose to submit.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide to us. This includes your name and email address when you create an account or contact us; the content of support messages; information you submit through forms or surveys; and any content you upload or type into our products, including prompts, images, audio, video and documents submitted to AI-powered features, together with the outputs generated for you.

Information collected automatically. When you use the Services we may collect device and app information (device model, operating system and app version, language and region settings, and a device or installation identifier), IP address, general location inferred from IP address at city or country level, in-app events and usage data, and diagnostic data such as crash logs and performance metrics.

Purchase and entitlement data. If you buy a subscription or paid feature, the app store processes the payment and we receive limited transaction information — such as product identifier, purchase or renewal status, entitlement, order verification data and related metadata — so we can unlock the feature you paid for. Payment card details are handled by the app store and are never received by us.

Information from third parties. App stores and platform providers may share limited information with us, such as aggregate, non-identifying reports about installs, crashes and store performance.

Sensitive information. We do not ask you for special categories of personal data (for example health, biometric or political data) and we ask that you do not submit such information to our products, including in prompts or uploaded files.

3. How we use information

We use personal information to:

  • provide, operate and maintain the Services, including account creation and authentication;
  • process and verify transactions, and manage subscriptions, credits and entitlements;
  • respond to support requests, questions and complaints;
  • personalize and improve features, including understanding which features are used and where they fail;
  • monitor performance, debug crashes, prevent abuse, fraud and security incidents;
  • communicate with you about service changes, security notices and, where permitted, product news;
  • comply with legal obligations, app store rules and our Terms of Service.

4. AI features, prompts and generated content

Content you submit to AI-powered features — prompts, images, audio, video, documents — is processed to generate the output you requested and to keep your history available to you. Where a feature depends on a third-party model provider, the relevant content is transmitted to that provider to return a result, under the provider's terms and our configuration settings.

We do not use your content to train generalized AI models, and we do not sell it. Where such controls are available, we configure third-party model providers not to retain or train on your content. We may process aggregated or de-identified information to measure quality and improve features.

Your responsibilities. Only submit content you have the right to submit, and do not use the Services to create or distribute content that infringes the rights of others or that is unlawful, deceptive, hateful, or sexually exploitative of minors. Outputs may be inaccurate or similar to content generated for others, so review them before relying on or publishing them. See the Terms of Service for the full rules on user and AI-generated content.

Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we process personal information on the following legal bases: performance of a contract (providing the Services you requested); legitimate interests (securing, supporting and improving the Services, preventing abuse and fraud, and complying with app store requirements); consent (where we ask for it, such as optional marketing communications); and compliance with legal obligations. You may withdraw consent at any time.

We do not use personal information for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects without your explicit consent or another lawful basis, and we do not build advertising profiles of you. Automated systems are used for operational purposes such as spam, abuse and fraud detection; if such a system affects you, you can contact us to request human review.

6. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share personal information only as described below:

  • Service providers. Vendors that help us run the Services in categories such as cloud hosting and content delivery, database and storage, analytics and product measurement, crash and performance monitoring, email delivery, customer support tooling, and subscription or purchase management. They process personal information on our instructions and under written agreements, and we limit what they receive to what their function requires.
  • AI model and infrastructure providers. Where a feature depends on a third-party model or inference service, the relevant content is transmitted to that provider to return a result.
  • App stores and platforms. As necessary for distribution, purchases, subscription management and store-mandated reporting.
  • Legal and safety. Where required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety and security of our users, the public or Polaris Wing.
  • Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing or sale of assets, subject to this policy and appropriate confidentiality protections.
  • With your direction. When you ask us to share information, or consent to a specific sharing.

A current list of the third-party services we use — with the purpose of each and a link to its privacy policy — is available on request at [email protected], and we update it as our stack changes.

7. International transfers

We operate globally and may process personal information in countries other than the one where you live. Where personal information from the EEA, UK or Switzerland is transferred to a country without an adequacy decision, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, together with additional technical and organizational measures where required.

8. How long we keep information

We keep personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy:

  • User content and generated outputs (uploads, prompts, results and creation history): generally up to 90 days on our servers, unless you delete them earlier or a longer period is needed for a specific product feature that we describe in the app.
  • Temporary processing files and operational caches: deleted as soon as they are no longer needed to deliver the service, which may be within hours.
  • Account data: while your account is active, and for up to 90 days after deletion, so that deletion can be completed and disputes resolved.
  • Support communications: up to 24 months after the request is closed.
  • Analytics and product usage data: typically up to 14 months, in aggregated or de-identified form where possible.
  • Server and security logs: typically 30 to 90 days.
  • Billing, entitlement and tax records: as long as required by applicable law and app store rules.

9. Security and breach notice

We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information, including encryption in transit, access controls and least-privilege permissions, logging and monitoring, and vendor review. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by applicable law.

10. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information; to obtain a portable copy; to object to or restrict certain processing; to withdraw consent; and to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. California residents have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know, delete, correct, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information — we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by California law, and we do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes requiring a limitation right. We honour opt-out preference signals such as Global Privacy Control where they are required.

To exercise any right, email [email protected]. We will verify your request using the information we hold about you and respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. You may use an authorized agent where the law allows it. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

11. Account and data deletion

If a Polaris Wing application offers an account, you can delete your account from within the app (typically under Account or Settings). You can also request deletion of your account, your uploaded content and your creation history at any time by emailing [email protected] with the subject "Data deletion request" from the address associated with your account. We will confirm the request and complete deletion within 30 days, except for information we are required or permitted to retain (for example, transaction records for tax purposes, store-mandated records, or data needed to prevent fraud and abuse), which we keep only for as long as the law requires.

12. App permissions

Our applications request device permissions only when a feature needs them, and you can decline or revoke them in your device settings (declining may limit the related feature). Typical examples:

  • Camera and photos/files: to let you capture, select or upload content you want to use in the app.
  • Microphone: where a feature accepts voice input or audio.
  • Notifications: to send you service messages you have enabled, such as when a task finishes.
  • Storage: to save files you export or download from the app.

We do not access your contacts, calendar, precise location or health data, and we do not read files unrelated to content you choose to use in the app.

13. Children's privacy

The Services are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it promptly. Where an app store assigns an age rating to one of our applications, that rating also governs who may install it.

14. Cookies, analytics and advertising

Our websites may use strictly necessary cookies to operate the site and, where you consent, analytics cookies that help us understand aggregate usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings; blocking strictly necessary cookies may affect how the site works.

We do not show third-party advertising in our applications and we do not use advertising identifiers (such as Google's Advertising ID or Apple's IDFA) to build advertising profiles or to sell audience data. If we ever introduce advertising or an ad SDK, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent first.

15. Third-party services

Our Services may link to or integrate with third-party websites, app stores and services — for example the store you installed the app from — and those services have their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to read. This policy does not apply to third-party services that we do not control.

16. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our Services, technology, legal requirements or business practices. We will post the updated version on this page with a new "Last updated" date, and where changes are material we will provide additional notice, such as an in-app notice or an email. Continued use of the Services after an update means you accept the revised policy.

17. How to contact us

Questions about this policy, or requests relating to your personal information, can be sent to [email protected]. We are Polaris Wing Technology Limited, and we aim to respond to privacy enquiries within 30 days.

For app store users: this policy applies to our mobile and desktop applications, including those distributed through Google Play. The data safety information shown on an app's store listing describes the same practices as this policy. If you have questions about a specific app, contact us at the address above.
